Recognitions (watch recording)

  • Bobcat Burger Donation – Legends American Grill Manager Brady Ridout will be presenting a donation to Activities Director Ryan Isgrig raised by the Burger Battle and the restaurant’s sales of the “Bobcat Burger” for which $1 of every purchase goes to MHS Activities.
  • Mariachi Bands in the News [information] – KCCI sat down with both the Miller and MHS mariachi bands on Sept. 21 to film a feature story in relation to Hispanic Heritage Month coverage they are doing. Our district should be very proud of both the students and band directors who were interviewed. Plus the reporter was super impressed with how the band sounded and their respectfulness. The story should be running sometime this week.
  • Bobcat Spotlight [information] – The Times-Republican kicked off a new recurring feature series called “Bobcat Spotlight,” which highlights MHS students involved in activities other than sports. Read the first feature story about one of our E-Sports students here.
  • National Custodian Day [information] – The Marshalltown Community School District would like to acknowledge the custodial team, who ensures that all our buildings are kept clean and safe every day. We deeply appreciate the dedicated work they do for our students and staff. Thank you!
